The Resurrection

Looking beyond Easter and remembering the Resurrection…

Confucius’ tomb is occupied.

Buddha’s tomb is occupied.

Mohammed’s tomb is occupied.

Jesus’ tomb is empty!!!

We are not following a loser!

Jesus brought HOPE to another level!

Palm Sunday

John 12: 12 On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, 13 Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.

This is the day celebrated as the day Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the donkey, and the people spread palm leaves down in front of the donkey. This was the customary way to receive a king. The ordinary way a king would have ridden into a town would have been either in a chariot, or on a white horse. Jesus chose a donkey, a beast of burden.

Jesus came in riding on the beast of burden, a gentle beast which bears the burdens and does the work for men. Isaiah foretold Jesus’ assignment for man. Isa. 53: 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

The Sacraments we have received in the Communion Service today were in remembrance of Him and all He has done for us.

Our faith in the redemptive work of Jesus, Who not only purchased our Salvation, He also carried our sorrows and griefs, bears our burdens, guarantees our peace, as well as paying the penalty for our sins.

Forgiveness, healing and help takes our Hope To Another Level and places it totally in Jesus!

Hope that is Real

Hope that is Relevant

Hope that is Everlasting

Forgiveness

Forgiveness is the key that unlocks the door of resentment and the handcuffs of hatred. It is a power that breaks the chains of bitterness and shackles of selfishness. - Corrie Ten Boom

Never Doubt It!

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.  - Philippians 4:19
